“Holding Onto Joy” has returned again this time in an individual exhibition of artist Suwannee Sarakana with Number 1 Gallery. Love, caring and the happiness that we share to each other in a family have refined and inspired her to create her art works with fondly love.

The artist of “Holding Onto Joy” an individual exhibition, has created her works with oil paint. It is her identity and a unique style of her works to be expressed about a family and experiences of life. Every single moment of life has its own valuable meaning, including happy and sad moments. Importantly, everything comes and goes never stay permanently. However whenever we see the “Little Mermaid And Mother” work, it always reminds us of the happiness or the happy moments that we have shared in a family. The work has full of the happiness and an imagination of a mother and a child, which symbolized love, warmth and caring, as well as cartoon balloons in “Holding Onto Joy” work. It is represented an imagination of a child with joy, pleasure and admiration. The floating balloons signified as the important and fragile things that we need to cultivate and raise them tenderly, and never let them go or float away easily as floating balloons.
